Nationally recognized with the 2025 Subaru Love Promise Community Commitment Award, we focus on key areas like health, education, environment, pets, and community support. Our partnership with Blood Cancer United (formerly The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society) exemplifies this commitment, helping fuel breakthroughs and provide essential support for blood cancer patients and families.
A Decade of United Action
Since 2016, Subaru and its retailers, including North Fort Lauderdale Subaru, have partnered with Blood Cancer United to empower communities, accelerate cures, and transform lives. In 2025, this marks a decade of impact:
- Subaru Loves to Care Initiative: Over 634 Subaru retailers participated, delivering warmth, comfort, and resources to patients. Nationally, Subaru has supported nearly 500,000 cancer patients over 10 years.
- Urgent Need Pediatric and Young Adult Program: Provided $500 in financial assistance to young patients and families for non-medical costs like housing, food, transportation, and utilities. In June 2025, funds from 312 retailers helped patients aged 0–39.
- Key Events: Supported Big Climb events in May, America’s Most Beautiful Bike Ride at Lake Tahoe, and matched all donations in June for National Cancer Survivors’ Month.
- Total Impact: So far in 2025, Subaru's contributions exceed $1.9 million, bringing more hope and time to patients and families.
